Music Ministry Team
Mr. Joseph Wood - Contemporary Worship Leader
The praise team began in July 2006 and presently consists of 3 guitars, 2
bass, drums, keyboards, and 4-6 vocals in addition to the guitarists also
doing vocals. They play at the 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Praise Service on
Sundays. The Praise Team also plays once a month from September
through June, usually the 3rd Sunday of the month beginning at 7 p.m. for
a joint service of Parker Ford Church, Coventry Church and Pottstown 1st
Church. The services rotate to the various locations. The Praise Team
plays a mix of older praise choruses and songs, as well as some of the
newer contemporary. Praise Team usually meets for practice on Monday
evenings from 7-9:30 p.m., unless there are scheduling conflicts.
THE MUSIC COMMITTEE is looking for a director for the Adult Choir.
Anyone interested in applying or if you know of someone who might be
interested call or email the church.

Christian Education Team
Children’s Team
- Sunday School at 10:00 am every Sunday.
- Junior Church will be held during the 11:00 am morning service
for children age 4 through 4th grade.
- Annual VBS
Adult Team
- Sunday School at 10:00 am every Sunday. There are 3 smaller
size teams that are currently studying David C. Cook series. This
quarter we will be looking at
March - The Seeming Defeat focusing on The Passion Week
April - The Captain Conquers
May - The Team Co-operates
April and May look at the two letters from John and the letter from
Jude.
Nursery is provided.
Special Adult Study
SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDY GROUP – Should Christians identify with a
particular political party? Are the teachings of Jesus “conservative”,
“liberal”, or neither? If you would like to discuss faith and politics,
sign up for a 6 week study group (to start April 6 at 10 am). Half the
cost of the book “The Great Awakening, Reviving Faith & Politics in a
Post-Religious Right America”, by Jim Wallis, will be paid by the
Sunday School (your cost:$12.50). See Nancy Elliott-Carter with
questions or to join the group.
- Women's Bible Study meets at 7:00 pm. every other Tuesday
evening (opposite the Christian Maturity Study). They are
currently studying the book of Philippians. All women of the church are
welcome to attend.
- Men's Bible Study meets Wednesday morning at 6:00 am at
Coventry Storage. They are learning from the Book of Matthew.
- Ecumenical Bible Study meets in various people's homes at 9:00
am every other Tuesday from September to June.
- Christian Maturity Bible Study meets at 7:15 pm every other
Tuesday evening (opposite Women's Bible Study). This study led
by Pastor Bob is studying the book of Jude.
